No Shelf Life

No Shelf Life — Welcome

Start Here.

If you found this, it probably wasn't an accident.

No Shelf Life

It's not a fitness brand. It's not a self-help platform. It's not a motivational page.

It's just real people building things, training, learning, and figuring it out as they go.

No Shelf Life is a philosophy built around one uncomfortable truth: people don't expire because they get old. They expire because they stop moving, stop building, stop paying attention to what life is actually asking of them.

This is the space where I work that out in public. Through writing, through conversations, through products and people that reflect the same values. It's a living project. Not a finished one.

Brian Eddie

I'm Brian. I run a manufacturing company by day and build No Shelf Life in the space between everything else. I'm in my 40s, based in Illinois, father of three. These days it’s running, lifting, skateboarding, or whatever keeps me moving and reminds me I’m not done yet. I spend a lot of time thinking about systems , business, personal, the ones running silently in the background of your life whether you notice them or not. I started No Shelf Life because I needed it. The brand came second. Somewhere along the way I realized how easy it is to slip into autopilot, doing what you’re supposed to do, handling responsibilities, staying busy, but feeling like the days all start to look the same.

No Shelf Life became a way to push back against that. It’s not a fitness brand, not a self-help platform, and not a motivational page. It’s a place to document real life as it happens. Training, building, experimenting, and the people along the way who refuse to live like there’s an expiration date on growth. Some of it turns into blogs, some into videos, some into projects or products, and some into nothing at all. That’s the point. Stay curious, stay in motion, and keep building something, even if you don’t know exactly where it’s going yet. No shelf life.
