Pledge To Rad - Graphic Tee

The first piece of art I ever sold was a skateboard I painted on a random afternoon with my kids.

A few months after that afternoon Fargo Skateshop in DeKalb held an art show. We entered our boards for fun. I thought I was getting the board back at the end of the show.

Turns out it was a silent auction. Three bids. Around $50. Money went to charity.

I did not know it was for sale. I have no idea who bought it.

But that moment gave me something I did not know I needed, confidence in my own creative voice. Permission to lean into that side of myself. A small but real signal that the things I make might mean something to someone outside my own head.

That moment was a foundational building block for No Shelf Life.

This shirt is an homage to that board. To that afternoon. To the first piece of art I ever sold, completely by accident.
